| HOW TO JOIN NEVADA CASTING - ATTEND OPEN CALL IN MAY |
| Nevada Casting accepts prospective talent into the agency once a month during our Open Call. This is the ONLY time we meet with interested persons and we do not set appointments or take email submissions. We are seeking serious, professional, career-minded talent that are interested in building their careers and reputations. Talent ages 5+ may attend. Please remember, we are a professional, working agency and NOT a school.
We will NOT be holding Open Call in April - we're just overwhelmed with so many cool productions and bookings this month! We will schedule an Open Call in May - the date will be announced soon. We will see people at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00pm. Prospective talent need to arrive at the top of the hour so please be prompt for one of the select times - appointments will not be set. Open Call is held at the Nevada Casting offices located at 587 Dunn Circle, Ste. 150, Sparks, NV 89431.
ALL talent - regardless of age or area of interest- must be prepared to walk the catwalk and perform a one-minute monologue or a 30 second commercial. Monologue/commercial must be memorized, materials will not be provided. Controversial or offensive subject matter and language should be avoided. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring your professional pictures and resume to be reviewed. If you are new to the profession or have limited experience you are still welcome to attend. If you do not have professional pictures please bring in three (3) 4" x 6" color, printed digital pictures that accurately represent your current look. Please wear tasteful, age-appropriate clothing that allows us to assess your physique.
During Open Call Nevada Casting will discuss the role of an agent/agency, what it means to have representation, agency requirements and define our working relationship. Again, we are a professional agency and not a school. This is an excellent opportunity to have industry questions answered, receive information and determine your "next best steps" for involvement int the entertainment industry. Attending Open Call is not a guarantee of representation. We look forward to meeting you soon! |
