On Camera, On LOCATION! NEW DATE!!!!
INSTRUCTOR: TBD
DAYS: Saturday, March 20
TIME: 3:00-5:00pm
DATES: March 20 NEW DATE!!!
COST: Agency - $60, N/A - $125; $10 deposit
| DETAILS: During in-studio, on-camera shoots technicians and talents have near complete control over their environment – the lighting, sound, set, and situation. But what happens when you leave the confines of the studio for the great outdoors?
Anything and everything!!!!!
Talent and technicians alike need to adjust on the fly to all kinds of conditions outside – noisy passersby, fluctuating sound and light levels, unknown terrain, time of day and the elements. Airplanes, busses, bugs, dogs, distractions!!!
This two-hour workshop out in the elements will give talent the experience of working on camera, on location and is a MUST for all serious performers! Talent will have the opportunity to do multiple takes, receive direction from three different directors, work individually as well as with scene partners, and receive a CD of their performance with the direction and notes included for review. In some cases talent may receive footage appropriate for posting to their profiles. In ALL cases, talent will get to see themselves as directors see them – on camera and responding to direction! All participants will receive their performance CD the same day as the workshop - this is an invaluable training tool. This workshop will improve BOTH your on-set and audition experiences – helping you to be confident and flexible in fast-paced, unscripted, improvisational moments.
This workshop is open to all NCGI talent aged 8 and older and is recommended for all talent needing on-camera experience. The workshop will be held OUTSIDE come rain or come shine! No, we won’t cancel due to rain, wind, snow or other bad weather! Talent will need to be prepared to be outdoors (dress accordingly, bring sunscreen) and on their feet and working the majority of the two hours.
